I am pleased to announce that Eaton has agreed to acquire CopperLogic, Inc., a manufacturer of electrical and electromechanical systems. We expect this acquisition to close after all customary closing conditions have been satisfied.

An integration team is being assembled with representatives from both companies to evaluate how best to integrate the CopperLogic business into Eaton. This team will work to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

Overall, this acquisition will enhance Eaton’s go-to-market efforts to better support the way customers obtain industry-leading Moeller series components in North America. This acquisition positions Eaton as a more complete partner to machinery original equipment manufacturers and will further enhance Eaton’s sales organization and channels focused on the control, components and automation markets. The acquisition of CopperLogic will also bring a portfolio of IEC, CSA and UL assemblies to Eaton.

CopperLogic’s strong customer partnerships and market knowledge will be valuable assets as we move forward. I’m very pleased to welcome CopperLogic to the Eaton team.
